ouchie

Sorry for the scary closeup of my ear and hair. I didn’t know I had that much hair on my face lol.
I got my cartilage pierced (again*)! I decided to go one day last week. It hurt! But it only lasted for a second. I went to a piercing parlor in town and looked around, feeling really uncomfortable. Finally a guy named Buzz came up front and said hi. He seemed nice, and all the piercing and tattoo certificates made me feel a little at ease.
Buzz explained the process and lead me back to the bed. He cleaned all his instruments, and told me to take a deep breath. As I let the breath out put the needle in my ear… ouch! He talked me through the entire process and it went ok in the end. I had slight pain that lasted for the rest of the day, and it is annoying not being able to sleep on it.
Now it only hurts when I touch it, which of course I try not to do much. Today it itched all day. I think that is a good sign. Maybe it means it is healing?
*I had it done a few years ago but stupidly got it done at the mall with a gun, which everyone knows is a no-no. I hope this time it won’t get infected or anything.
PS - I just realized how big the picture of my ear is lol. Get a good look at everyone!
